Lembongan Island is situated just 23 kilometers of Bali 's East Coast. With relatively few tourists on the island, visitors can enjoy un-crowded and white sandy beaches and relaxed atmosphere as the island greatest asset.

Lembongan is a pristine tropical island, its highest point is 50 meters above sea level. Lembongan has an average rainfall of approximately 1000 mm per year. Little temperature variation from 30 degrees Celsius occurs between the only two seasons this island experiences being the wet and the dry. Lembongan village is 615 ha in area, consisting of 85% unproductive rocky land. The main income for the population is derived from seaweed farming. In 1997 the farms were recorded to cover up to 70 ha. They farm Euchema Cottomi a specie of ocean algae, Legend of Nusa lembongan.

The Tannis Villas is a Balinese style hotel on Nusa Lembongan. Most rooms are air-conditioned although there are fan-cooled bungalows if you wish to watch the bottom line. There is no TV but the pool is fairly sized. Of course, there is a pool bar. Do note that the villas do not have seaviews. They are not beach front but the beach is a short walk away. A better beach is only 5 minutes away, up a cliff and then down to a secluded little cove. The restaurant serves the usual dazzling array of international food. None done particularly well but adequate. For its price, the Tanis Villas Nusa Lembongan is fair value for money.

Two bedrooms villas with AC (2 units). Size 5 X5 square meters has two king size bedrooms with separate private bathroom (sunken bathtub) and Air conditioning, outside terrace and garden, mini bar. Ideally occupied by 4 persons maximum.

The Tanis Suite:
The Tanis Suite (1 unit) size 5 X 7 square meters has 1 king size bed, private bathroom facilities, sunken bathtub, Air conditioning, mini bar ideally occupied for 2 persons

The Underground House :
One of the most unique attraction at Nusa Lembongan is the under ground house. Owned by Made Biasa the house was built underground using only a hammer, chisel and intuition as guidance. It took 15 years to complete this incredible labyrinth which includes a bedroom, dinning room, kitchen, bathroom and the sacred meditation room.

Puncak Sari Temple :
Pura (temple) Puncak Sari is located on a hilltop overlooks to the Indian ocean and neigbouring islands of Nusa Ceningan and Nusa Penida. This stunning view also encompasses the East coast of Bali.

Crystal Bay :
This area is favorite among under water photographers and marine researchers. The white sandy botton and exceptionally crystal clear cool water with an credible assortment of fishes and vegetations make this place very unique. The lotus pond in th area is also worth to visit.

Coral Fishing Trips :
The Tanis Villas also arranges daily trips to Nusa Penida and Nusa Lembongan areas on traditionally designed and specially adapted out rigger boats. You may hook tunas, blue marlin or large pelagic fish. Our chef will be delighted to grill your own catch for lunch or dinner.
